Stuart Crainer & Des Dearlove

The creators and compilers of the Thinkers50, Des Dearlove and Stuart Crainer (www.crainerdearlove.com) have more than 20 years experience as business journalists, consultants, coaches and lecturers. They have interviewed and worked with hundreds of leaders and have interviewed all of the great modern leadership thinkers from Peter Drucker to Daniel Goleman. They are visiting professors at IE Business School, Madrid.

Former columnists to The (London) Times, their work has appeared in newspapers and magazines worldwide, including the Financial Times, the Industry Standard, Business 2.0, Newsweek Japan, The Times of India, and Handelsblatt. Their books including Generation Entrepreneur and Gravy Training are available in more than 20 languages.

Des and Stuart have taught MBA students, professors and senior executives on programmes all over the world. These include the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme at the Saïd Business School at Oxford University; Columbia Business School in New York; the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire; IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland; and London Business School.

Stuart is editor of Business Strategy Review, and according to Personnel Today he is one of the most influential people in British people management. Des is a contributing editor to the US-based magazine Strategy+Business. They are associate directors of the Management Innovation Lab at London Business School and editors of the bestselling Financial Times Handbook of Management. Management Today described them as "market makers par excellence."
