S. Gopalakrishnan

S. Gopalakrishnan co-founded Infosys Technologies Ltd. and has been its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director since June 22, 2007 and President since August 21, 2006. Mr. Gopalakrishnan served as the Chief Operating Officer of Infosys Technologies Ltd. until June 21, 2007 and its Joint Managing Director from August 21, 2006 to June 21, 2007. Mr. Gopalakrishnan served as a Deputy Managing Director ... and Head of Client Delivery and Technology of Infosys Technologies Ltd. from 1999 to 2002. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Infosys Technologies Ltd.'s Head of Customer Service and Technology. From 1994 to 1996, he served as the Head of Technical Support Services of Infosys Technologies. From 1987 to 1994, he served as the Technical Vice President and managed all projects of KSA/Infosys, a former joint venture between Infosys and Kurt Salmon Associates. Prior to that, he served as the Technical Director of Infosys. He serves as the Chairman of Infosys Consulting Inc., Infosys Technologies Ltd.'s wholly owned subsidiary. He serves as a Director of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, Ltd. Mr. Gopalakrishnan has been a Director of Infosys Technologies Ltd. since October 1994 and previously served as its Director from 1981 to 1987. Mr. Gopalakrishnan received an M.S. in Physics and an M.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Madras.
